This is how Blèzi began

Hi, I’m Miranda, the founder of Blèzi. I’m also a mother, a skincare and makeup enthusiast, and a woman going through menopause.

I have been working in the beauty industry for more than 35 years and in that time I have got to know many big brands from within. What struck me: makeup is primarily developed for younger women. As I passed forty, I suddenly realized what that meant. Lipstick quickly bled into the fine lines around my lips. Eyeliner started smudging on my eyelids, which weren’t as taut as when I was twenty. And foundation? It would end up on my handkerchief at the slightest hot flash. Not exactly a boost to my self-confidence…

But, thankfully, it was very inspiring. I realized there was something missing in the cosmetics market. I thought: it must be possible to look radiant all day long in a few simple steps, right? Even when you’re over 40? With that idea in mind I started Blèzi.
