Clean beauty

Cosmetic products free from animal testing and controversial ingredients. Cyclic silicones, parabens, microplastics, and sulfates are among the excluded ingredients in clean beauty.

Cruelty-free

Not tested on animals
Cruelty-free products are made without animal testing. Alternative methods evaluate the safety and efficacy of cosmetic products, such as in vitro tests (tests on cells in a lab environment) and computer models.

Dermatologically tested

They are formulated with ingredients that help keeplipstick in place, preventing colour from fading or transferring or reducing coverage. Although kiss-proof products are less prone to transfer, they might still fade over time, especially when exposed to oily or fatty substances.

The product maintains its appearance and performance for a long time. For instance, long-lasting makeup does not smudge, bleed, or fade quickly.

Microplastic-free

Microplastics are tiny plastic particles (less than 5 millimetres in diameter) that are commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products for their exfoliating or binding properties.
Microplastics can cause ecological disruption as they become part of the environment and accumulate in various ecosystems. This can cause harm to animals, plants, and the entire environment.

Silicones are synthetic compounds commonly used in formulations for their smooth and silky texture, as well as their ability to enhance the appearance of the skin. Additionally, they can help maintain texture and prevent ingredient separation in products.

Silicones can create a barrier on the skin that may clog pores. For individuals prone to clogged pores, using silicone-containing products may contribute to skin issues such as blackheads and acne.
It’s important to note that not all silicones are the same, and some products contain silicones specifically formulated to have less impact on the skin and the environment.

Smudge-proof

Smudge-proof makeup products stay in place and retain color and texture even when touched or rubbed. This ensures that the makeup lasts beautiful for longer periods without fading or transferring.

Sulphate-free

Does not contain sulphates

Sulphates are cleansing and foaming agents used to remove dirt, oil, and impurities from hair and skin. In cosmetics, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulphate (SLES) are commonly used. While they effectively remove dirt, they also unfortunately damage the protective microflora of your skin. They can lead to dryness, sensitivity, and irritation.

Talc-free

Does not contain talc

Talc is a mineral commonly used in cosmetics for its absorbent and mattifying properties. Some people are sensitive to talc, experiencing skin irritation or allergic reactions. Others prefer to avoid products containing talc due to concerns about the potential health effects of inhaling talc particles.

Vegan

Contains no ingredients of animal origin

A vegan product does not contain any ingredients derived from animals or animal by-products. This includes not only animal oils, fats, and extracts, but also other substances produced by animals, such as beeswax, caviar extract, honey, milk, and collagen.
